WILL YOU HELP?
Help the Steering Committee raise $200,000 to pay to start construction. Please donate NOW. This situation was created by the Covid pandemic slowing giving and added costs for required design changes to meet zoning.

The Construction Committee has completed the design and construction plans. There is an urgent need for your immediate cash support to pay the contractor, Nabholz, and the architect, KSQ, so that construction begins to assure that the house opens in August 2021.
The new Sig Ep house features meeting space for the entire 192-man chapter, resilient commercial surfaces, ADA compliant access, chapter meeting room, catering and resident kitchens, rooms for 14 brothers, and one for our resident scholar. It will include the latest in health standard compliance, energy efficiency and security systems.

THE NEED FOR A NEW SIG EP HOME
The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly changed the culture at the UA. This house is designed to address that change. It will provide a welcoming and safe space for building relationships and sheltering. A new home for Arkansas Alpha is more critical today than at any time in its history.
The two-story design for 360 North Arkansas will provide space for the chapter to meet and continue to grow. It will provide a place for alumni to return and to send their sons to continue the legacy.
Arkansas Alpha has not had a house or consistent meeting place to gather, meet, eat and socialize for at least two decades. Despite that shortcoming the chapter has over 200 members. It ranks in the top three UA fraternities for GPA/scholarship, service, philanthropy and sports.
WHY NOW?
Sig Ep's membership and brotherhood programs have enabled the chapter to successfully recruit top prospects. It is the largest and best performing chapter in Sig Ep nationally and among competing fraternities on campus. A safe place to meet and shelter will assure that Arkansas Alpha continues to grow that proud Arkansas legacy of building Balanced Men.
The National Housing Office of Sigma Phi Epsilon determined that the two-story design will cash flow when it opens in August 2021. It will provide the gathering space that has been lacking. The Covid impact has demonstrated that the brotherhood at Arkansas lacks that secure and welcoming space for members and alumni.
